The idea of creating the Mother Teresa Home came to Calire while in adoration, five years before it opened. She realized that, while she was actively protecting the unborn through a prayerful presence outside abortion clinics, she needed to do something for the children once they came into the world. She noticed the diocese had many unused rectories and convents that could be used for housing. “Whether they really don’t have support; their parents are deceased, they have no siblings, or perceived non-support; not wanting to ask for help,” Calire explained.
